    Nicole Ameln has 25 years of tax experience, 18 years entirely focused on production incentive and tax planning for the entertainment industry. Nicole has held positions at Fox Studios, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and White & Case LLP prior to establishing North Star Incentives. She earned an M.B.A. in Public Accounting from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business, as well as a J.D. from Pace University’s School of Law. In addition, Nicole has worked on independent films as a production manager and coordinator.

  • Senior Vice President

    Jenn holds a Bachelors of Music & Business Administration Degree from Oklahoma City University. She worked in public accounting for 13 years before joining a small independent studio as their in-house production/post production accountant. She founded 405 Post Production Services LLC in 2019 to support the Oklahoma film incentive rebate program by providing rebate and consulting services and post production accounting services. The local industry was booming so much so that the need for local production accountants became a necessity. She joined local IATSE 484 and her focus expanded from doing post work and rebate work to also being a Key Production Accountant. Jenn currently serves as board member and Treasurer for Oklahoma Motion Picture Alliance.

    Crystal Eaves has more than 20 years of freelance and studio production experience, with 10 years entirely focused on production incentive compliance. Prior to joining North Star, Crystal was Director of Theatrical Productions Incentives for 20th Century Fox. Additionally, she has worked as a freelance production supervisor and production coordinator.

    Chris Ward has over 19 years experience as a production accountant on various television and film productions. Chris is responsible for weekly production cost reporting; daily production hot costs; preparing production budgets; supervising accounts payaable and staff/crew payroll; production cash flow forecasts; residuals schedules for SAG/AFTRA, WGA and DGA. Chris worked on location within the United States (California, New York, Vigina, Utah) and internationally (Canada, Ireland).

    Florence Larsonneur has 20 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry and has gathered in-depth experience in the 3 major pillars of the world of motion picture production, distribution and finance: US Studio, US Indie production, finance and sales, and local productions and international co-productions. Florence started her career working under the direct mentorship of the academy award producer Jeremy Thomas, acting as his senior business affairs executive for 8 years. She was directly involved in all levels of Recorded Picture Company’s production and distribution activities and an integral part of the growth of the international sales and finance company, Hanway Films.

    Rayne Marcus has more than 25 years of industry experience, with a focus on production accounting for the last 7. She has worked in NY, LA, Vancouver, and Atlanta, and has now honed in on post accounting; cleaning the ledger, maximizing incentive credits, prepping and following through with the audit process, working with the DOL, taking productions across the finish line and wrapping it all up with a bow.
